Tregothnan tea
Tregothnan is a renowned tea producer located on a historic estate in Cornwall, celebrated for cultivating some of the rarest and highest-rated teas in the world. It is notable for being one of the few places in the UK where tea is grown commercially, benefiting from a unique microclimate ideal for tea cultivation.
The estate produces a range of distinctive teas by blending its own Cornish-grown leaves with premium leaves from Assam and Darjeeling, as well as offering a rare 100% pure range of botanical and Manuka honeys produced by estate bees. Products emphasise quality, rarity, and craftsmanship, with guidance provided on tea origins, types, and optimal brewing techniques to enhance the drinking experience.
Tregothnan have also pioneered the worlds first solar powered robotic tea harvester is in action. The tea robot is being trained to only pick the freshest leaf tips. Teabot is capable of pruning over 26 miles of tea and is capable of plucking over five miles of tea on one charge. Teabot then simply parks itself to face the sun and recharges via the onboard solar array.
